“The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.”
Haldir the noble military elf of Lothlórien imparts some of his levelheadedness to us that in all lands of the world, no matter where you find yourself – where there is chaos rampant there is love the more abundant. The dimmest of places have the brightest of perspectives. The greater the grief the bigger the response. A forest fire may devastate in a day but a lush evergreen grows back a week, month, two months after.
...It grows perhaps the greater.
