My Daughter Started Reading The Bible While In Church

While at church, Nariyah of her own accord picked up the Bible from my lap which was already opened at Genesis 1 and started piling through it, seeing which words she could read then flipping through the pages.
 
It might look like mere curiosity but God’s Spirit works exactly through our curiosities and plants fruit seeds.
 
I find it fascinating where this moment in time might lead to from here. How is it that we don’t doubt a child to eavesdrop our adult conversations unawares and figure out what’s going on, yet doubt a child’s ability to here even an advanced sermon, only to come home without a clue? I think we (parents) are the ones who are often mistaken.
 
I hope she has a long life of looking again and again through the Word, discovering it’s endless lessons even after a lifetime.
